Analisis Arus Lalu Lintas dan Daya Dukung Pariwisata terhadap Overtourism di Kawasan Puncak Bogor

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of traffic flow and tourism carrying capacity on overtourism in the Puncak Bogor area. The high intensity of tourist visits that is not balanced with destination capacity and mobility management has the potential to create pressure on the environment, infrastructure, and the quality of tourist experiences. This study employed a quantitative method with an associative approach to examine the relationships and effects among variables. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents consisting of tourists visiting the Puncak Bogor area using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression supported by classical assumption tests, partial t-test, simultaneous F-test, correlation coefficient, and coefficient of determination analysis. The results showed that partially, the Traffic Flow variable (X1) had a significant effect on Overtourism (Y) with a t-value of 11.969, and the Tourism Carrying Capacity variable (X2) also had a significant effect on Overtourism (Y) with a t-value of 12.392, where both values exceeded the t-table value of 1.985 and had a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, both variables significantly affected overtourism with an F-value of 175.602. The coefficient of determination showed an R Square value of 0.784, indicating that traffic flow and tourism carrying capacity explained 78.4% of the variation in overtourism, while the remaining 21.6% was influenced by other factors outside this study. These findings indicate that tourist mobility management and destination capacity improvement need to be optimized to minimize overtourism risks and support sustainable tourism development in the Puncak Bogor area.
